The boys enjoyed a constructive non-uniform night as they put their building skills to the test - with a snowman outside and wooden bird boxes inside.
Our night began as normal with our Bible Study, as Rev William Moody discussed with the boys how “Jesus is Better than Adam”. He explained how Adam failed the test of obedience in the Garden of Eden allowing sin to enter the world, but Jesus passed the test of obedience in the Garden of Gethsemane by submitting Himself to die as a sacrifice for sin on the cross.
The rest of the night was spent alternating between two activities.
Three boys at a time completed a woodworking project – measuring, drilling, hammering and screwing to assemble a bird box for their garden. Meanwhile the rest of the boys played in the carpark outside, having snowball fights then working together to build a snowman in the corner of the carpark.
