2nd Ahoghill Company Section enjoyed a night of speed cycling as Believers on Mountain Bikes NI visited the hall.
BOMB NI are a ministry organisation who use their love of mountain biking to share their love of Jesus.
Founding member Winston Copeland introduced himself and the rest of the team, before explaining the format of the night to come. The BOMB NI team had transformed the hall into an indoor cycle speedway, which the boys would race around in a series of heats to determine who was fastest overall.
Winston finished the night by showing a series of videos produced by Whistler Blackcomb, using the title of each video as the basis of a short biblical message.
Dirt represented the sin in our lives and in the world around us.
Roots, one of the trickiest obstacles on bike trail, remind us that we will face tough times throughout life. But with the right spiritual preparation we can get through any situation.
Air is something we depend on but often take for granted, like many things in life. We should always recognise and appreciate just how God provides for us each day.
Soul reminds us that our time on earth is short, but that our soul will live on for eternity. We shouldn’t worry about the trivial things of this life but focus on the life to come.
Rock signifies the character of God, dependable and unchanging. We should put our trust in Him and make Him the solid foundation of our lives.
