The most important aspect of the Boys’ Brigade is learning about God.

Each week one of our leaders gives a short talk on a passage from the Bible, explaining what it means and discussing how it applies to our lives today.

We run several award schemes which allow boys to gain new skills and experiences, including the Boys’ Brigade’s Discover programme.

We’re also set up as a Duke of Edinburgh centre for Bronze and Silver awards.

We leave the familiar surroundings of the church hall to go various trips throughout the year.

This can include attending football matches, spending the night at the swimming pool or racing around a go-kart track.

We also carry out longer trips, ranging from single day trips to week-long summer camps.

We venture out into the great outdoors as often as we can. We’re equipped for hiking and camping, and have even constructed our own canoes. This gives us the freedom to head out on the hills or the water at a moment’s notice.

Boys can compete against other Companies in the Ballymena area in Battalion competitions, or compete against Companies from all around the British Isles in National competitions.
