2nd Ahoghill Company Section were officially enrolled within the Boy's Brigade for the upcoming year, in a service which took place in Brookside Presbyterian Church this morning.
The service began at 12:00 noon, when the colours were marched in by members of the Company Section. Rev. William Moody led the service, which included a Bible reading by Andrew Millar. Family and friends watched on as the acts of enrolment were carried out.
A total of seven Company Section leaders were enrolled this year, with William Young continuing in his role as Leader in Charge. Jonathan McCartney, Richard Cromie and Gary McLauglin were enrolled as Warrant Officer, while Adam MacKenzie, Ryan Young, Thomas Clarke and David Quaite joined as Associates.
This year’s Non-Commision Officers included Mark Greer, Richard Morrow, Joshua Loughridge, Jordan Stewart and Jamie McGeehan.
After the acts of enrolment, Rev. Moody shared a short Bible message with the boys before giving the benediction. The service concluded with the singing of the national anthem, after which the colours were marched off.
