Our boys travelled to the Valley Leisure Centre in Newtownabbey to compete in the Irish Finals of this year's U15s football national competition.
A total of eight teams had qualified and were divided into two groups of four. Each team would play three 12 minute matches against the other teams in their group.
The semi-finals would then take place, with the winner of Group 1 playing the Runner-Up in Group 2 and vice versa. The winners of each semi-final would both progress to the National Finals, but would also play a final head to head match to determine the Irish champions.

The results of the group matches meant that 1st Ballyclare faced 3rd Kilkeel in the first semi-final, which Kilkeel won 2-1. The second semi-final featured 24th Belfast against 1st Granshaw, which Belfast won with a single goal.
After a tense final, 24th Belfast were crowned winners with Kilkeel as runners up. Congratulation to both and all the best as they represent Ireland in the National Finals on 22nd March.
