Three boys from 2nd Ahoghill claimed medals at this year's Ballymena Battalion Cross Country competition.
As in previous years the competition took place on the grounds of Ballymena Academy. A bustling crowd of parents, leaders and boys gathered beside the upper rugby pitches ahead of the day’s races, which proceeded as follows –
- 200m race for Anchors
- 400m race for Juniors
- 700m race for Company
- 1km race for Seniors
Congratulations to the 2nd Ahoghill boys to took part and each earned a medal. In the Company race, Matthew and Thomas claimed 3rd and 5th respectively, while Stephen claimed 3rd in the Seniors race. Well done boys, and thank you as ever for taking the time to represent the Company.
