2nd Ahoghill Company Section teed off this session's round of trips, as they visited the driving range in Galgorm.
The evening began as a normal uniformed parade night, as we met for our Bible study, squad inspections and a short time of drill.
After this we drove the boys to Galgorm Castle Golf Club, where the staff had allowed us to use the driving range after their usual closing time of 8pm.
We were also joined by James Wylie, an elder of Brookside Presbyterian Church’s elders and keen golfer himself, who had agreed to help instruct any of the boys who wanted tips.
With the boys in full uniform, the night’s outing provided a good opportunity for the company to gain some exposure in the local community.
